PPG receives funding from DOE for development of coatings for Li-ion batteries

PPG will conduct the USD2.2 million-project in collaboration with Oak Ridge National Laboratory

PPG has received funding for the United States Department of Energy (DOE) for research into the use of two versatile, high-output processes in the production of lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery electrodes, the company announced in a press release on 16 September.
