Mullen Technologies to start construction of pilot EV plant in US
Company will start taking orders for its first EV model MX-05 electric SUV on 1 October
Mullen Technologies has announced plans to begin construction of a pilot electric vehicle (EV) facility in Monrovia, California, the United States, the company said in a press release on 24 September. The company will transform its high-voltage battery research and development (R&D) facility in Monrovia into a pilot production facility to produce its EV models. Mullen expects to complete construction work by April 2021 and start delivery of its first EV model, the MX-05 electric SUVs, to its customers by the second quarter of 2022.
