Batteries will be produced at Panasonic factory in Tokushima prefecture in Japan

The joint venture between Toyota and Panasonic, ‘Prime Planet Energy & Solutions’, is planning to manufacture lithium-ion batteries for hybrids from 2022 onwards, Reuters reported on 6 October.
