Two partners will jointly develop a new business model for battery leasing

SP Group has signed a business cooperation agreement with Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) to accelerate adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in Singapore, the company said in a press release on 12 November. As part of the agreement, the two partners will jointly develop a new business model for battery leasing, which will allow EV users in Singapore to lease battery for their EVs instead of owning it.
