Cruise, Walmart team up to test autonomous delivery service in US

Pilot program to allow customers in Scottsdale, Arizona, to place an order from their local Walmart store and have it delivered via Cruise’s AV

Walmart has teamed up with Cruise to test its autonomous delivery service in Scottsdale, a suburb of Phoenix in Arizona, United States, early next year, the retail company said in a press release on 10 November. The pilot program will allow customers to place an order from their local Walmart store and have it delivered, contact-free, via one of Cruise’s all-electric, autonomous cars, the Chevrolet Bolt.
