Teijin partners with SEMCORP to develop solvent-based coating separators for lithium-ion batteries
Teijin has also been entrusted by SEMCORP to develop new coating separators for high-capacity, extra-safe lithium-ion batteries
Teijin Limited has signed a technical license agreement with Shanghai Energy New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (SEMCORP) to manufacture solvent-based coating separators used in lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles (EV) and other industries, the company announced in a press release on 22 December.
