Posco to set up new lithium refining plant in Gwangyang, South Korea
The construction on the site is set to begin the first half of 2021 and expected to complete by 2023
South Korean steelmaker POSCO announced plans to build a plant in South Korea to extract lithium hydroxide, which is a key material for electric vehicle (EV) batteries, Yonhap News Agency reported on 14 April
