Joint venture: Bosch, Qingling Motors set up JV to produce hydrogen fuel cells in mainland China
Companies plan to launch test fleet Qingling trucks with Bosch's Fuel Cell Power Module in 2021; launch of fuel cell system planned for 2022–23
German automotive supplier Bosch and premium commercial vehicle manufacturer Qingling Motors have established a joint venture (JV) in mainland China, named Bosch Hydrogen Powertrain Systems (Chongqing) Co. Ltd. According to a company press release on 14 April, the new company will develop, assemble, and market fuel cell systems called ‘Fuel Cell Power Modules’ for vehicle manufacturers in mainland China.
