Volkswagen, QuantumScape to select location for solid-state battery JV plant this year
The companies are considering Salzgitter, Germany as the location for their joint venture plant location.
QuantumScape Corporation and Volkswagen Group of America have entered into an agreement to select the location of their joint-venture solid-state battery pilot-line facility by the end of 2021, according to a company press release on 14 May. The companies are currently considering Salzgitter, Germany for the location.
