Outsight launches Augmented LiDAR Box lidar software engine

Outsight has launched Augmented LiDAR Box (ALB), a real-time lidar software engine that allows application developers and integrators to seamlessly used lidar data from any hardware supplier, the company said in a press release on 6 May. The new solution enables leveraging of 3D spatial intelligence’s value while avoiding the complexity of processing 3D data in real time. The lidar agnostic solution saves the customers from the hassle of assessing and choosing the most appropriate lidar for each application.
