Rassini, Hexion develops EPIKOTE™ epoxy resin for rear suspension system in Ford F-150
The hybrid rear suspension made with EPIKOTE™ epoxy resin allows for a weight reduction of 16 kg.
Hexion has developed in collaboration with Rassini, an epoxy resin system for rear suspension system called EPIKOTE™ for Ford’s new 2021 F-150 pickup truck model. According to a company press release on 1 June, Rassini develops and manufactures the hybrid rear suspension—comprising a parabolic main steel leaf supported by a composite helper—at its Piedras Negras (Coahuila Mexico) location.
