CATL and Great Wall Motor sign 10-year strategic cooperation agreement
The companies will work on futuristic EV technologies under the strategic agreement
China’s lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery manufacturer Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. (CATL) and the vehicle manufacturer Great Wall Motor Company Ltd. (GWM) signed a 10-year strategic cooperation agreement on 2 June at the latter’s HAVAL Technology Center in Baoding, Hebei Province, the battery maker announced in a press release on 3 June.
