Waymo partners with Google Maps to offer autonomous rides
Waymo One, the company's ride-sharing and transit service, will be added to the Maps app's "ride-sharing and transit" tabs
According to a press release published on TechCrunch on June 4, Alphabet Inc's self-driving unit Waymo announced a partnership with Google Maps to allow users to book fully autonomous ride-hailing services through the app.
