Porsche forms JV with German battery maker Customcells
JV with Customcells, Cellforce Group, is aimed at producing batteries with higher energy density
Volkswagen’s luxury car arm Porsche AG has formed a joint venture (JV) with Germany’s Customcells, specialists in lithium-ion (Li-ion) cells, to produce high-performance batteries that will significantly reduce charging times, Porsche said in a press release on June 21.
