The state government has earmarked over USD117 million in subsidies to promote EVs

The Indian state of Gujarat has launched ‘Gujarat Electric Vehicle Policy 2021’, wherein the state aims to accelerate the adoption of EVs with anticipated sales of almost 200,000 EVs over the next four years, state chief minister Vijay Rupani said on 22 June .
