Umicore announces equity investment in EV battery startup Solid Power
Umicore had invested in Solid Power in series A and B investment rounds
Brussels-based materials technology company Umicore has invested in Colorado-based EV battery developer Solid Power, which had recently announced its plans to go public on the Nasdaq through a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), the company said in a press release on 15 June.
