Nissan, Envision AESC announce USD1.37 billion plan to create EV ecosystem in UK
Roadmap entails Nissan and Envision AESC to invest USD582 million and USD619 million respectively
Japanese carmaker Nissan has unveiled ‘Nissan EV36Zero’, which is its USD 1.37 billion (GBP 1 billion) plan to set up its flagship electric vehicle manufacturing ecosystem in the UK. The ecosystem would be centered around its existing plant in Sunderland, UK, the company said in a high-profile announcement on July 1.
