Company plans to invest about USD5.38 billion in setting up a battery unit
New York-based lithium-ion battery technology company Charge CCCV Llc (also called as C4V) has inked an agreement with India’s southern state Karnataka as the company plans to invest about USD5.38 billion (or INR 4000 crore) in setting up a battery manufacturing plant, Deccan Herald newspaper reported, citing an industries minister Jagdish Shettar.
