Plans to set up 10–12 GWh Li-ion battery facility

Amara Raja Batteries plans to invest about USD1 billion over the next 5–7 years on new-age energy storage systems such as lithium-ion (Li-ion) technology, Indian news agency PTI quoted S Vijayanand, president, New Energy wing of Amara Raja, as saying on 10 August.
