Chinese EV battery supplier, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. (CATL) is looking to raise up to USD9 billion via private share placement to fund six projects aimed at boosting its production capacity of lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries, Reuters said in a report on 13 August.
