German specialty semiconductor producer X-FAB Silicon Foundries announced via press release on 14th September that it was partnering with Swiss Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) manufacturer LIGENTEC to create Europe’s largest capacity foundry service for integrated photonic circuits.
