ASMPT announces agreement to acquire AEi to offer automated and scalable end-to-end camera module assembly
The acquisition of AEi is in line with ASMPT's strategy of pursuing long-term, profitable growth through expansion into promising adjacent markets
According to an official press release dated 30 September, ASM PACIFIC TECHNOLOGY LIMITED and Mycronic Group signed a definitive agreement under which ASMPT will acquire Mycronic's subsidiary Automation Engineering, Inc. ('AEi') in an all-cash transaction.
