Gestamp to use ArcelorMittal’s XCarb green steel certificates
The certificates will allow Gestamp’s OEM customers to report a reduction in their Scope 3 emissions
Spanish automotive supplier Gestamp Automoción, S.A. announced via press release on 20 October that it had signed an agreement with Luxembourger steel manufacturer ArcelorMittal to start using XCarb® green steel certificates for the production of automotive components, as part of its sustainability strategy to decarbonize all of its operations.
