Himax second-generation automotive TDDI widely adopted by new vehicles globally
Company expects explosive growth of second-generation automotive TDDI with growing need for smart and connected vehicles globally
Himax Technologies unveils its second generation automotive in-cell TDDI (Touch and Display Driver Integration), HX83192 series, the company announced in a press release on 17 December. The module entered mass production in the third quarter and has been widely adopted by automakers, Tier-1 suppliers and panel makers across all major automotive businesses with footprint in the United States, Europe, China, Japan, and Korea to be used for new car models released during 2022 to 2024.
