Metso Outotec to supply material extraction technology for Li-Cycle’s battery recycling plant
The company’s solvent extraction technology and equipment are expected to be used to supply recycled battery material to North American automakers
Finnish technology company Metso Outotec announced via press release on 17 December that it had signed an agreement with battery recycling company Li-Cycle for the supply of manganese, cobalt, and nickel solvent extraction technology for a recycling plant being built in Rochester, New York, US.
