Aeva introduces 4D LiDAR Aeries II with integrated camera-level resolution
FMCW module enables automotive-grade reliability supporting up to 1,000 lines per frame to enable next wave of autonomy
Aeva unveils Aeries II, a 4D lidar sensor designed with automotive-grade reliability catering to future ready autonomous applications in automotive, and beyond, the company announced in a press release on 1 February. Aeries II is the world’s first lidar-on-chip module that can detect 4D velocity for each point in addition to 3D position at distances of up to 500 meters.
