Glencore and Managem to produce cobalt from recycled batteries in Morocco

The two companies will use Managem’s high recovery rate recycling technology to recover cobalt from end-use Li-ion batteries

Anglo-Swiss multinational commodity trading and mining company Glencore announced via press release on 26 January that it had entered into a partnership with Moroccan mining company Managem to produce cobalt from recycled cobalt, nickel, and lithium at Managem’s CTT Hydrometallurgical Refinery at Guemssa.
