LG Energy Solution obtains license from CAMX Power for advanced cathode material
CAMX Power’s GEMX platform of nickel based high-energy cathode materials will be used by LGES to produce high performance Li-ion EV batteries
South Korean battery maker LG Energy Solution Ltd. (LGES) announced on 7 March 2022 that it has acquired a license from US-based CAMX Power LLC to use the latter’s GEMX platform of nickel based high-energy cathode materials for developing lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries for EVs.
