Battery startup Our Next Energy, 6K to collaborate on low-cost cathode material
The cathode material will be produced on 6K’s UniMelt microwave plasma production system and will be used in ONE’s range-extended Gemini battery system
Michigan-based battery startup Our Next Energy Inc. (ONE) and 6K, a leading player in the production of sustainable advanced materials for lithium-ion batteries, have announced a partnership to develop and produce low-cost cathode material, ONE said in an official press release on 9 March 2022.
