Volkswagen plans Gigafactory in Valencia as part of USD7.69 billion EV roadmap for Spain
VW’s 40GWh Valencia Gigafactory is expected to be ready to commence operations in 2026
German carmaker Volkswagen AG announced on 23 March 2022 that the company, along with its external suppliers, plans to invest more than EUR7 billion (USD7.69 billion) under its ‘Future Fast Forward’ program, which entails setting up an entire electric mobility value chain in Spain.
