AI vision company Ambarella completes acquisition of radar developer Oculii
The combination of Ambarella's camera technology and Oculii's radar software stack will result in an all-weather, low-cost, and scalable perception solution
Ambarella, an AI vision company has announced the completion of its previously announced transaction to acquire US based radar developer Oculii, according to an official press release on 8 November 2022. Oculii has become a completely owned subsidiary of Ambarella as a result of the transaction. Ambarella will acquire all outstanding capital stock of Oculii for USD307.5 million. Steven Hong, co-founder and CEO of Oculii, will join Ambarella as Vice President and General Manager of Radar Technology.
