Motional partners with TÜV SÜD on safety evaluation of its autonomous vehicles
The IONIQ 5-based robotaxi will be used in Motional's fully driverless public robotaxi service, which will launch in 2023
Hyundai-Aptiv joint venture Motional has announced a multiyear partnership with TÜV SÜD, an independent technical service provider with experience assessing autonomous vehicles, on the safety evaluation process of its all-electric IONIQ 5-based robo-taxi, according to an official press release on 7 April 2022.
