In the context of the ongoing blockage by the truck drivers at the US-Mexico border, a recent note published on its website by the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) said that the situation is critical for North American automotive component suppliers and that the protest can disrupt the supply chain and production schedules of the OEMs.
