Luxembourg-based steel company ArcelorMittal announced via press release on 14 April that it had signed an agreement to acquire an 80% shareholding in Austrian steel manufacturer Voestalpine’s Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI) plant located in Corpus Christi, Texas, US.
