Research development is in line with 4 V-class metal-free organic Li-ion batteries becoming a reality
Tohoku University and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) joint research teams announced that an advancement of innovative battery construction by using a small organic molecule, croconic acid, has enabled a step closer toward metal-free, high-energy, and low-cost lithium-ion batteries, according to a press release published by Tohoku University on 13 April.
