Shortage of wiring harness has led to delay in the launch of the electric ID.5 from April to May

German carmaker Volkswagen is working on a new growth plan that is aimed at reducing its vulnerability to the effects of global conflicts, such as supply chain disruption and rising prices, by divesting more power to its regions and brands, according to a report filed by Reuters on 19 April 2022.
