Italvolt signs MoU with regional authorities in Italy for 45-GWh gigafactory
The final plant design is expected to be submitted by June in order to receive construction permits as early as 2023 and to begin production in 2024
Electric vehicle battery maker Italvolt S.p.A. has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the local authorities at Piedmont Region headquarters in Italy last week and is now a step closer to building its 45-GWh Gigafactory, the company said on 21 April 2022.
