CharIN, VDA Germany partner to accelerate expansion of EV charging infrastructure
The two will work together to support the German government's ambitious goal of installing one million public charging points by 2030
The Charging Interface Initiative (CharIN) e.V., which is global association with over 250 members dedicated to promote interoperability based on the Combined Charging System (CCS) as the global standard for charging vehicles, has signed a partnership agreement with the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) e.V. to accelerate the expansion of the charging infrastructure while improving the quality of EV-charging, and optimizing the interface to the consumer in Germany, the association said on 29 April 2022.
