Mercedes-Benz lays foundation for advanced battery R&D center at Stuttgart plant
The center of competence for battery cell R&D, named Mercedes-Benz eCampus, will start operations from 2023
German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz announced on 31 May 2022 that it has laid the symbolic foundation for a new center of competence for the EV battery cell research and development (R&D) at its main plant in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim.
