Salzgitter, LKAB to develop raw materials for green steel production technology
LKAB’s iron ore pellets are expected to be used to manufacture green steel at Salzgitter’s DRI/EAF plants.
German steel company Salzgitter AG announced via press release on 3 June that it had agreed to a technical cooperation with Swedish mining group LKAB for the decarbonization of the steel industry.
