Gestamp, SSAB partner to develop high performance lightweight steel
New Docol1000CP steel to enable lightweight FLCA component construction
Gestamp has announced that it partnered with Swedish steel company SSAB and developed high strength, lightweight Docol1000CP steel to manufacture chassis components for Toyota Yaris, according to a press release published by Gestamp on 28 June.
