Panasonic launches capacitive knob for vehicle information displays

The knob contains a capacitive rotary encoder that can be placed anywhere on the touch screen surface

Panasonic has launched ‘hybrid’ capacitive knob input for allowing both capacitive and mechanical operation for in-vehicle display systems, ELE Times reported on 1 July. The capacitive knob was jointly developed by Microchip Technology Inc.
