TiJAN is developed at a budget of INR1,300 million by the Union Ministry of Science & Technology of India

The Government of India has launched a new autonomous navigation facility TiHAN (Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation) in the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad campus, according to a report published by mint on 4 July 2022.
