Aluminum recycling startup Sortera raises USD10 million during Series B funding round
The startup uses its proprietary AI and X-ray technology to efficiently sort mixed aluminum scrap streams into individual alloys
American aluminium company Sortera Alloys announced via press release on 7 July that it had raised USD10 million in funding from venture capital firms Assembly Ventures and Breakthrough Energy Ventures as well as American aluminium company Novelis.
