Rheinmetall secures new multi-million-dollar business to supply fuel cell components

The order received in this contract is for the flap systems with integrated position control electronics that serve as bypass and shut off valves for fuel cells

The Düsseldorf-based supplier of propulsion parts and electric mobility solutions, Rheinmetall AG has bagged a major contract to supply fuel cell components, specifically cathode valves, the company said on 13 July 2022. While the order is from a Europe-based maker of fuel cells, it is worth mid-double-digit-million-dollar business, the company said without disclosing the actual order size.
