Steel Dynamics to set up USD1.9 billion recycled aluminum flat rolled mill in Southeastern US
The new mill will produce 650,000 tons of flat rolled aluminum for the automotive industry from 2025.
American steel producer Steel Dynamics (SDI) announced via press release on 19 July that it will be investing USD2.2 billion to set up a low-carbon, recycled aluminum flat rolled mill with two supporting satellite recycled aluminum slab centers in Southeastern United States.
