Tesla to begin production of 4680 battery cells at Texas Gigafactory by end-Q3 2022
Tesla has enough stock of 2170 cells that can cater to all vehicle production for the remainder of 2022
US electric vehicle (EV) maker Tesla plans to start producing the 4680 battery cells at its Texas-based Gigafactory by the end of the third quarter of 2022, according to a report published by the news website Teslarati on 20 July 2022.
