Zangge and Ultra Argentina to invest USD290 million in new Argentinian lithium projects
The two companies intend to extract lithium from brines in the region and process it into lithium carbonate in a new plant.
News agency Reuters reported on 28 July that mining companies Ultra Argentina SRL and mainland China’s Zangge Mining will jointly invest USD290 million in northwest Argentina to explore and develop the lithium deposits in the region.
