Pensana secures UK government funding for Saltend rare earth refining facility
The facility will produce 5% of the world’s critically important magnet rare earths from 2023
British mining company Pensana announced via press release on 22 July that it broken ground on and secured funding under the UK Government’s USD1.2 billion (GBP1 billion) Automotive Transformation Fund (ATF) for its rare earths processing plant in the Humber Freeport in Hull, Saltend, UK.
