Hyundai Mobis plans to spin off module, components production businesses
To focus more on aftersales support and R&D
Hyundai Mobis, a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company that manufactures vehicle parts, is said to be moving forward with spinning off modules and component manufacturing businesses, leading to speculation that the restructure is designed to facilitate governance reforms inside the automotive group, according to a report published by The Korea Times on 15 August 2022.
